Bundesvision Song Contest 2005
The Bundesvision Song Contest 2005 was the first edition of the annual Bundesvision Song Contest musical event. The contest was held on 12 February 2005 at the König Pilsener Arena in Oberhausen, North Rhine-Westphalia. The contest was hosted by Stefan Raab, Annette Frier, and Oliver Pocher in the green room. It was the first Germany-wide music competition in this format. The winner of the Bundesvision Song Contest 2005 was alternative pop band Juli with the song "Geile Zeit", representing Hessen. In second place were Fettes Brot representing Schleswig-Holstein, and third place to Sido with representing Berlin. 14 of the 16 states awarded themselves the maximum of 12 points, with North Rhine-Westphalia, and Rhineland-Palatinate, awarding themselves 10 points each. Stefan Raab
Stefan Konrad Raab (born 20 October 1966) is a German television producer, businessman, musician, and former entertainer and television host. From 1999 to 2015, he hosted the late-night comedy talk show '' TV total'' and has also created a number of other television shows, such as '' Schlag den Raab'' and '' Bundesvision Song Contest''. Raab began his TV career hosting the comedy show ''Vivasion'' in 1993. He became well known in 1994 after composing a hit single spoofing national football coach Berti Vogts. In the early 2010s, Raab was considered the "most powerful man in German entertainment television". Raab is also known for his recurring role as producer, writer and performer of German entries to the Eurovision Song Contest between 1998 and 2012. De Randfichten
De Randfichten are a German ''Volksmusik'' (folk music) band from Johanngeorgenstadt, Saxony. Founded in 1992 as ''Original Arzgebirgische Randfichten'' by Thomas "Rups" Unger and Michael "Michl" Rostig, they were renamed to ''De Randfichten'' in 1997. In that year Thomas "Lauti" Lauterbach became a band member, and they released their first album ''Do pfeift dr Fuchs''. Their song "Lebt denn der alte Holzmichl noch?" reached #3 of the German single charts in July 2004 and was in the German Top 100 for 56 weeks. The song is based on a traditional folk song "Der Hausmichl". delta radio is a radio station from Kiel, Germany. It is a branch of Mach3 Broadcasting along with Radio Schleswig-Holstein (RS-H) and Radio Nora (all of Kiel). The French Lagardère Group holds shares in the company. Delta radio prides itself for its different, and alternative image, as its slogan "''Klingt anders''" (lit.: sounds different) sums up. Virginia Jetzt! was a German Indie-Pop band founded in the small town of Elsterwerda in Brandenburg in 1999; the quartet dissolved in October 2010. Slut is a German indie rock band from Ingolstadt, Bavaria. The band's lyrics are primarily written and sung in English. History The band was founded in 1994 by Christian Neuburger (vocals, guitar), Matthias Neuburger (drums), Rainer Schaller (guitar), Gerd Rosenacker (bass guitar) and Phillip Zhang the accompanying keyboard artist. After they recorded their first album, Rene Arbeithuber (keyboard, vocals, guitar) also joined. From 1997 to 1998, along with Rene and Rainer's band, 'Pelzig', they lived and recorded in a castle near Ingolstadt. Lukas Loules (né Hilbert, born 23 December 1972) is a German songwriter, composer, music producer, and singer. In 2014, he married Katerina Loules and changed his surname from Hilbert to Loules. Career Hilbert founded a band called the Future with his brother Kieran when he was 12 years old. They toured Germany until Udo Lindenberg took the brothers into his Panikorchester.
