Buffalo Subdivision
The Buffalo Subdivision is a railroad line owned by CSX Transportation in the U.S. State of West Virginia. It was formerly part of the CSX Huntington East Division. It became part of the CSX Florence Division on June 20, 2016. The line runs from Man, West Virginia, to Lorado, West Virginia, for a total of 16.6 miles. At its south end it continues north from the Logan Subdivision and at its north end the track comes to an end. Man is a town in Logan County, West Virginia, United States. The population was 772 at the 2020 census. The town is located along the Guyandotte River at the mouth of Buffalo Creek, which was the site of the 1972 Buffalo Creek Flood following a dam collapse.
