Logan Subdivision
The Logan Subdivision is a railroad line owned by CSX Transportation in the U.S. state of West Virginia. It was formerly part of the CSX Huntington East Division. It became part of the CSX Florence Division on June 20, 2016. The line runs from Barboursville, West Virginia, to Gilbert, West Virginia, for a total of . At its north end the line continues south from the Kanawha Subdivision and at its south end the line connects with Norfolk Southern. Barboursville is a village in Cabell County, West Virginia, United States. The population was 4,456 at the 2020 United States census, 2020 census. It is part of the Huntington–Ashland metropolitan area. History Barboursville was platted in 1813. Barboursville was then chartered in 1813 and incorporated in 1867. The Barboursville Historic District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008. The Thornburg House was separately listed in 1991.
