He served as Minister for Health and Social Welfare in the Government of Prime Minister Maria de Lourdes Pintasilgo 1979–80. Francisco Bruto da Costa is an Indian professional football manager who is the current fitness coach of The Cong-Viettel FC in the V.League 1 in Vietnam. He was the head coach of SC East Bengal. Bluto, at times known as Brutus, is a cartoon and comics character created in 1932 by Elzie Crisler Segar as a one-time character, named "Bluto the Terrible", in his ''Thimble Theatre'' comic strip (later renamed ''Popeye'').
