Bromma Borough
Bromma () is a borough (''stadsdelsområde'') in the western part of Stockholm, Sweden, forming part of the Stockholm Municipality. Bromma is primarily made up of Bromma Parish and Västerled Parish. The fourth largest airport in Sweden and the third largest of the airports close to Stockholm, the Stockholm Bromma Airport, was first built in Bromma in 1936. The south-eastern part of Bromma is one of the richest areas in Stockholm. Judarskogen Nature Reserve
Judarskogen nature reserve is a municipal nature reserve and a Natura 2000 area in Bromma, western Stockholm, Sweden. It is located in Bromma parish in Stockholm municipality in Uppland. The area of Judarskogen was set in the early 20th century as a nature park. Judarskogen became an outdoor reserve in 1932 and since 1995 it has been a nature reserve. The reserve is named after the lake Judarn, which is located in the middle of the area. Description Judarskogen is surrounded by Norra Ängby area on the north side, Södra Ängby area on the west side, Åkeshov castle in the northeast and Nockebyhov in the southeast. In the west, the Judarskogen borders the Ängbybadet at Lake Mälaren. In the middle of Judarskogen is the lake Judarn. The name Judarn comes from the word luda, to sound. Ulvsunda
Ulvsunda is a district in Bromma in western Stockholm, just east of Stockholm Bromma Airport, built around Ulvsunda Castle, a 17th-century castle. Ulvsunda borders the ulvsunda industrial area to the north, Lake Ulvsunda and Traneberg to the east, Alvik and Stora mossen metro station, Stora Mossen to the south, and Riksby to the west. The southeastern part of Lillsjön (Ulvsunda), Lillsjön is part of Ulvsunda and straight through the district stretches Ulvsundavägen. Riksby
Riksby is a suburb within the district of Västerort in Stockholm, Sweden. It is located in the borough of Bromma. History The name "Riksby" is derived from Riksby gård, a farm once located in the parish of Bromma parish. The village of Riksby was mentioned for the first time in a parish letter from 1409, when it was known as Rodhersby. Stockholm Municipality bought the land in the year 1904. It was previously a part of the estate of Åkeshov Castle, Åkeshofs Castle (''Åkeshof Slott''). In 1930, Riksby became an Allotment (gardening), allotment. Because of this the house owners moved from the old Fredhällskolonin on Kungsholmen to Riksby. The district was established in 1926. Mariehäll
Mariehäll is a suburb of Stockholm and a district in the north-east of the Bromma borough of Stockholm Municipality. In 2019, Mariehäll had 9,024 inhabitants. Mariehäll was originally part of the farm Bällsta. At the end of the 19th century Mariehäll became an industrial area, owing to its proximity to the then recently founded suburb Sundbyberg. An area of detached homes south-west of Mariehäll, then called ''Bällsta villastad'', came to be included within Mariehäll. By 2003 the number of inhabitants were 1,368.
