Bridgit Fitzgerald (died 19 September 1898) was a Canadian of Irish descent who was a prominent patron of the English-speaking culture within the Irish community of Quebec City, in the 19th century. Fitzgerald married William Power (Sr.) on September 27, 1843, in Sainte-Foy, Quebec, Canada. Mother of the Canadian politician William Power, and grandmother of the Hon. Charles Gavan Power and William Gerard Power, both Canadian politicians. She travelled to Boston, Massachusetts for the christening of her nephew John F. Bridgit Claire Mendler (born December 18, 1992) is an American entrepreneur and former actress and singer-songwriter. She first became known as a Child actor, child actress and continued acting into adulthood, which overlapped with a musical career in the 2010s. After enrolling at MIT Media Lab, MIT and Harvard Law School, Harvard from 2017 to 2024, she co-founded a multi-million Communications satellite, satellite data startup. Saint Brigid of Kildare or Saint Brigid of Ireland (; Classical Irish: ''Brighid''; ; ) is the Patron saint, patroness saint (or 'mother saint') of Ireland, and one of its three national saints along with Saint Patrick, Patrick and Columba.
