Bridgit Fitzgerald (died 19 September 1898) was a Canadian of Irish descent who was a prominent patron of the English-speaking culture within the Irish community of Quebec City, in the 19th century. Fitzgerald married William Power (Sr.) on September 27, 1843, in Sainte-Foy, Quebec, Canada. Mother of the Canadian politician William Power, and grandmother of the Hon. Bridgit Claire Mendler (born December 18, 1992) is an American entrepreneur and former actress and singer-songwriter. She first became known as a Child actor, child actress and continued acting into adulthood, which overlapped with a musical career in the 2010s. Saint Brigid of Kildare or Saint Brigid of Ireland (; Classical Irish: ''Brighid''; ; ) is the Patron saint, patroness saint (or 'mother saint') of Ireland, and one of its three national saints along with Saint Patrick, Patrick and Columba.
