Bridget Brennan is an Australian journalist. Brennan is co-host of the ABC's breakfast program '' News Breakfast'' alongside James Glenday. She is a Yorta Yorta and Dja Dja Wurrung woman. She is niece to painter Angela Brennan. Career Brennan joined the ABC as a cadet journalist in 2010. From 2011 to 2013, she was based in Darwin where she worked as a radio and television reporter. Dan Bourchier is an Australian journalist and television presenter, best known for his work at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and Sky News Australia. He is currently a senior newsreader on the ABC News Channel's Mornings program, and chair of the ABCs Bonner Committee. NAIDOC Week ( ) is an Australian observance lasting from the first Sunday in July until the following Sunday. The acronym NAIDOC stands for National Aboriginal and Islanders Day Observance Committee. NAIDOC Week has its roots in the 1938 Day of Mourning, becoming a week-long event in 1975. NAIDOC Week celebrates the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in Australia.
