Dan Bourchier
Dan Bourchier is an Australian journalist and television presenter, best known for his work at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and Sky News Australia. He is currently a senior newsreader on the ABC News Channel's Mornings program, and chair of the ABCs Bonner Committee. Previously, he lead the ABC coverage of the Voice to Parliament as ABC Referendum/Voice Correspondent, and hosting ABCs The Drum. He formerly presented the ACT edition of ''ABC News'' on the ABC TV station in Canberra from Sunday to Thursday each week. He was a candidate for the staff-elected position on the Board of the ABC, typically pre-selected by the union of which many ABC staff are members. Bourchier did not commit to dropping out of the race if he wasn’t pre-selected as a union backed candidate, and is one of 8 candidates for the staff elected director role. Philip Clark (radio Presenter)
Philip Clark (born May 1956) is an Australian radio presenter. He is best known for his work at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and at Sydney commercial station 2GB. Since 2016, he has hosted the Monday to Thursday editions of ''Nightlife'' on the ABC Local Radio network. Career Clark was born in Launceston, Tasmania. He studied arts and law at the Australian National University in Canberra where he lived from 1974 to 1987. After graduating from university, Clark worked for Labor senator John Button during the Hawke government. In 1986, Clark moved to Sydney where he practiced law with a major law firm. Dart Center For Journalism And Trauma
The Dart Center for Journalism and Trauma is a resource center and think tank for journalists who cover violence, conflict and tragedy around the world. A project of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in New York City, the Dart Center also operates Dart Centre Europe, based in London; Dart Centre Asia Pacific, based in Melbourne; and a research node at the University of Tulsa. Dickson is a suburb in the Inner North of Canberra, Australia. It is named after Sir James R. Dickson (1832–1901) who was a Queensland advocate of Australian Federation and one of the founders of the Australian Constitution. There is no specific theme for street names. A Welcome to Country is a ritual or formal ceremony performed as a land acknowledgement at many events held in Australia. It is an event intended to highlight the cultural significance of the surrounding area to the descendants of a particular Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander clan or language group who are recognised as the original human inhabitants of the area.
