Brett Detar
Brett Detar is an American singer, songwriter, film composer, and music producer. He is perhaps best known as frontman for the band The Juliana Theory and as former guitarist in Zao. Detar launched a career as a country musician with the release of his debut solo album, '' Bird in the Tangle''. Life and career Brett Detar was born April 30, 1978, in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. He began his musical career as guitarist in the band Pensive, who released an EP called ''The Subtlety of Silence'' and a split with EP with fellow Pennsylvania band Seasons In The Field. In 1997, drummer Jesse Smith recruited Brett to play guitar in the metalcore band Zao. Detar suggested his friend Dan Weyandt come aboard as well. They both appeared on the groundbreaking album '' Where Blood and Fire Bring Rest'' and a split CD with Training for Utopia. Tiger Army is an American psychobilly band based in Los Angeles, California. The group was formed in 1996 in Berkeley, California, and its only constant member is singer, guitarist, and lead songwriter Nick 13. The band has released six studio albums and four EPs. History Tiger Army played their first show at the famous 924 Gilman Street venue in Berkeley, California, on March 29, 1996. Training for Utopia, also stylized as TFU, is an American metalcore band, initially active from 1996 to 2000. History The band first signed with Tooth & Nail Records and was later moved to Solid State Records, the Tooth & Nail imprint that promotes heavy Christian music. Training for Utopia subsequently became popular in the Christian metal scene during its active years, although the band actively tried to remove themselves from that label during their later years.
