Brahmotsavam (film)
''Brahmotsavam'' () is a 2016 Indian Telugu-language family melodrama film written and directed by Srikanth Addala. The film was co-produced by Prasad V. Potluri under the banner PVP cinema in association with G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment. It starts Mahesh Babu, Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Pranitha Subhash. Gopi Sundar scored the film while Mickey J. Meyer composed the film's soundtrack album. R. Rathnavelu and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao handled the film's cinematography and editing respectively. The film's story was based on the lines of Addala's previous directorial ''Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu'' (2013), which also featured Mahesh Babu and samantha Ruth Prabhu. The plot follows Babu, the son of a reputed entrepreneur and a well-respected person in the family, who was engaged to his cross-cousin, but falls in love with an NRI. ''Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu'' (), also known by the initialism ''SVSC'', is a 2013 Indian Telugu-language family drama film written and directed by Srikanth Addala. It was produced by Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations, and stars Venkatesh, Mahesh Babu, Anjali and Samantha, while Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Rao Ramesh, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Abhinaya and Rohini Hattangadi play supporting roles. In addition to directing the film, Addala worked on the script for three years after the release of his directorial debut, '' Kotha Bangaru Lokam'' (2008).
