Brady Scott
Brady Canfield Scott (born June 30, 1999) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for Major League Soccer club Columbus Crew. Youth Born in Petaluma, California, Scott began playing recreational soccer at the age of six. He first began playing with the Sonoma County Alliance before joining Marin FC. While at Marin FC, Scott also occasionally played striker. Club career Scott then joined De Anza Force before moving to Germany. While with Sonoma County Alliance, Scott had a trial with Dutch Eredivisie side Vitesse and prior to moving to Germany, he was offered a scholarship to play college soccer for the Virginia Cavaliers. 1. 2021 MLS Re-Entry Draft
The 2021 MLS Re-Entry Draft took place on December 17, 2021 (Stage 1) and December 23, 2021 (Stage 2). All 28 Major League Soccer clubs were eligible to participate. The priority order for the MLS Re-Entry Draft was reverse order of playoff finish in 2021, taking into account their regular season finish. The 2022 expansion team, Charlotte FC, received the last overall selection. Teams had the option of passing on their selection. For players selected in Stage 1 of the Re-Entry draft, clubs had to exercise the option for, or extend a Bona Fide Offer to, all players selected and may not select their own draft-eligible players. Players with option years left on their contract were automatically added to the drafting club's roster. The 2020 MLS Expansion Draft was a special draft for the Major League Soccer expansion team Austin FC that was held on December 15, 2020. The list of players available for selection was released on December 14, 2020. Format Teams who had players selected in the 2019 MLS Expansion Draft are exempt.
