OKC Energy FC
Oklahoma City Energy Football Club, or simply Energy FC, is an American professional Association football, soccer club based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The club is a member of the USL Championship, the second division of the American soccer league system. Although having not officially ceased operations, the club is currently on a hiatus, having canceled their seasons until a planned 2027 return. The club cites its inability to meet league requirements for field conditions. With their operations to field a team, the organization is currently undergoing a name change initiative using a Name The Team contest for fans to vote. John Pascarella
John Pascarella (born July 20, 1966) is an American soccer coach who is currently on the staff of Forward Madison FC in USL League One. Playing career Raised in Vineland, New Jersey, Pascarella played prep soccer at Vineland High School together with Glenn Carbonara, with both graduating in 1984. Pascarella played four years of college soccer at Pennsylvania State University between 1984 and 1987, before playing professional soccer. He had stints with Washington Stars and abroad in Peru with both Sport Boys and Alianza Atlético, before returning to the United States. In the US, Pascarella played in the A-League and USISL Premier League with Richmond Kickers and Standard Falcons, before joining MLS side Los Angeles Galaxy in 1996. Steve Cooke (born 31 October 1968) is an English football manager and coach who is the head coach of Atlanta United 2 in MLS Next Pro. Prior to that, he was on the technical staff of Seattle Sounders FC of Major League Soccer as a director, moving to the Sounders in May 2021 as the U17 head coach before also assuming the director role. Under his management, the Sounders U17s team won the prestigious Generation Adidas Cup in April 2022, and went on to win the MLS Next West division.
