Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc. (BAVI), also known as Bounty is a poultry company based in Pasig, Metro Manila, Philippines. As the main company of the Bounty Fresh Group of Companies, it manages roast chicken retail chains Chooks-to-Go and Uling Roasters, Reyal Litson Manok, Adobo Connection, and HeiHei. History Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc. was established in 1997 as a family business of Tennyson Chen. The company initially started as a supplier of dressed whole chicken and chicken parts under the Bounty Fresh Chicken, Bounty Fresh brand to retailers. Chen has been involved in the poultry business as early as the 1980s, who began with a layer farm in Santa Maria, Bulacan, Santa Maria, Bulacan with 5,000 chickens. The ASEAN Free Trade Area (AFTA) is a trade bloc agreement by the Association of Southeast Asian Nations supporting local trade and manufacturing in all ASEAN countries, and facilitating economic integration with regional and international allies. The FIBA 3x3 World Tour is an international tour of men's 3x3 basketball teams representing cities. The tournament is organized by FIBA. The FIBA 3x3 Pro Series and FIBA 3x3 Women Series were launched in 2019. Qualification The FIBA 3x3 Men's Pro Circuit refers to the system or network of FIBA-sanctioned men's 3x3 competitions for city-based professional teams. Chooks-to-Go 3x3 Pro Circuit Teams
Since the inception of the Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3x3 league in 2019 which is backed by Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc. (BAVI), multiple 3x3 team under the sponsorship of BAVI has been sent to the FIBA 3x3 Men's Pro Circuit which usually consists of the core of the winning team in a conference or tournament. A total of three teams under the Chooks-to-Go name has participated in level 10 (Masters) competitions of the FIBA 3x3 Men's Pro Circuit namely; Pasig Chooks, Balanga Chooks, and Manila Chooks TM; all three has featured in a FIBA 3x3 World Tour Masters tournament, although none has qualified in a World Tour Finals. The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas () or the SBP is the national sport association for basketball in the Philippines, formed from the merging of the Basketball Association of the Philippines (BAP) and Pilipinas Basketball (PB). It was formed in order to fix a long running feud in Philippine Basketball that resulted in FIBA suspending the country from participating in FIBA-sanctioned events. Both groups signed a joint communique during the FIBA Congress in Saitama, Japan in September 2006. Manuel V. Pangilinan, chairman of the Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company, and owner of the PBA teams TNT Tropang Giga, Meralco Bolts and NLEX Road Warriors was named as the first president of the organization on February 5, 2007, up until August 8, 2016. Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3x3 is a professional 3-on-3 basketball league in the Philippines and is organized by the country's national basketball federation, the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP). It was formed in 2018 as a bid to get the Philippines qualify for the 3x3 basketball event in the Summer Olympics. History In December 2018, Bounty Agro Ventures the company behind the roast chicken brand Chooks-to-Go, announced that it would be helping establish a 3-on-3 basketball league to be organized by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas. This followed the inclusion of the 3x3 variant of basketball being included as a medal event in the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
