KMFDM
KMFDM (originally Kein Mehrheit Für Die Mitleid, loosely translated by the band as "no pity for the majority") is a multinational industrial rock band from Hamburg led by Sascha Konietzko, who founded the band in 1984 as a performance art project. The band's earliest incarnation included German drummer En Esch and British vocalist Raymond Watts, the latter of whom left and rejoined the group several times over its history. The trio recorded the band's earliest albums in Germany before Konietzko and Esch moved to the United States, where they found much greater success with seminal industrial record label Wax Trax! German guitarist Günter Schulz joined in 1990; both he and Esch continued with the band until KMFDM broke up in 1999. "Megalomaniac" is a song by industrial rock band KMFDM from the album commonly referred to as ''Symbols''. It was released in various forms in late 1997 and early 1998. The song peaked at #22 on Billboard's Bubbling Under 100 chart, the band's only appearance on the chart. The associated music video featured a then-unknown, and only 17 year old Kelly Brook. A 7" vinyl version was released in 2009. "Day of Light" is a song by industrial rock band KMFDM that was first released on 1 February 2010, on 7" vinyl, and was limited to 250 copies that sold out in less than 36 hours. The title track on side A features vocals by William Wilson of Legion Within, a band with whom KMFDM frontman Sascha Konietzko worked on two albums. The B-side is an instrumental track. Both tracks were made available for download as mp3s from the KMFDM online store on 13 March 2010, and "Day of Light" was included, along with a remix, on the " Krank" single. Nancy Sandra Sinatra (born June 8, 1940) is an American singer, actress, film producer and author. She is the elder daughter of Frank Sinatra and Nancy Sinatra ( Barbato) and is known for her 1965 signature hit " These Boots Are Made for Walkin'. Sascha Kegel Konietzko (born 21 June 1961), also known as Sascha K and Käpt'n K, is a German musician and record producer. He is the founder, frontman and "anchor" of the industrial band KMFDM. Konietzko jokingly purports himself to be the father of industrial rock. '' Keyboard Magazine'' wrote of him, "You won't find a more imaginative or effective keyboardist on the hard-core scene." KMFDM Konietzko is best known for his role as frontman of KMFDM. Dorona Alberti (born 1975, Maastricht) is a singer and actress whose projects include: industrial music act KMFDM, Hobson, Fairocious, Old Shoes, Pick up the Pieces, Briskey, and most recently, the Dutch/Belgian Lounge group Gare du Nord. Lucia Cifarelli (born September 23, 1970) is an American singer, best known for her work with industrial band KMFDM. She was formerly the vocalist for the band Drill and also performed in KMFDM offshoots MDFMK, KGC, and Schwein. Career Cifarelli got her start recording in studios in New York, eventually forming her own band, Drill, along with future Black Label Society bass guitarist John DeServio. Drill released one self-titled album, spawning two music videos and getting a third song featured in the movie ''Empire Records''. Later in 1995, Drill opened for Stabbing Westward's ''Wither, Blister, Burn, and Peel'' Tour. The band broke up shortly after the end of the tour.
