BSS (, also known as BooSeokSoon or Seventeen BSS) is the first sub-unit of South Korean boy band Seventeen. Formed in 2018, the group is composed of DK, Hoshi, and Seungkwan. The group is considered one of the most successful sub-units in K-pop, with their single "Fighting" garnering multiple nominations and awards for Song of the Year in 2023, and their debut single album ''Second Wind'' breaking the first-week sales record for an album released by a sub-unit. Lee Seok-min (; born February 18, 1997), known professionally as Dokyeom () or DK, is a South Korean singer. Managed by Pledis Entertainment he is a member of the South Korean boy band Seventeen, its vocal team, and is the leader of its subunit BSS with Hoshi and Seungkwan. Outside of his group activities, In 2019, DK made his musical theatre debut with the lead role Arthur in ''XCalibur'', the South Korean production of '' Artus-Excalibur''. Kwon Soon-young (; born June 15, 1996), professionally known by his stage name Hoshi (), is a South Korean singer and dancer. Managed by Pledis Entertainment, he is a member of the South Korean boy band Seventeen, its vocal team, and the subunit BSS alongside Hoshi and DK. "Fighting" () is a song recorded by BSS featuring Lee Young-ji. It was released on February 6, 2023, as the lead single of their first single album, '' Second Wind'', which marked the group's first release in five years after their debut single "Just Do It". ''M Countdown'' () is a South Korean music program broadcast by Mnet from the CJ E&M Center Studio in Sangam-dong, Mapo District, Seoul. It features appearances by popular music artists who also perform live on stage.
