The Golden Film ( nl, Gouden Film) is a film award recognizing domestic box office achievements in the Netherlands. The Golden Film is awarded to films from the Netherlands once they have sold . The award is an initiative by the Netherlands Film Festival and the Netherlands Film Fund to increase media attention for Dutch films. The Platinum Film ( nl, Platina Film) is a film award recognising domestic box office achievements in the Netherlands. It is awarded for the first 400,000 visitors of a Dutch film production. In 2003, one of the requirements for the award was raised from 200,000 to 400,000 visitors. Starring co-writer Jandino Asporaat who plays five different characters in the film, and Liliana de Vries. The film premiered in Dutch theaters nationwide on December 10, 2015 Primarily filmed in Rotterdam, South Holland, a large portion of the movie was filmed in Willemstad, Curaçao in the former Netherlands Antilles, and it features many Dutch celebrities of Surinamese and Curaçaoan descent such as Humberto Tan, Jörgen Raymann and Tania Kross. The film also features the television sketch "FC Kip" from the 'De Dino Show', for which Asporaat is famous for across the Netherlands.
