''Bohurupi'' () is a 2024 Indian Bengali-language vigilante heist action thriller film written by Nandita Roy and directed by Nandita Roy & Shiboprosad Mukherjee. The film stars Shiboprosad Mukherjee, Abir Chatterjee, Ritabhari Chakraborty and Koushani Mukherjee in the lead roles. Produced by Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee under the banner of Windows, the film is based upon a chain of real life events in the timeline between 1998 and 2005. This film marked the second collaboration between the directorial duo and Abir Chatterjee after '' Raktabeej''. Malay Laha handled the editing under Nandita Roy's lead while Indranath Marick did the cinematography. It was released in the theatres on 8 October 2024 on the occasion of Durga Puja. The film opened to positive reviews from the audience as well as the critics alike. Sujan Mukherjee (also known as Neel Mukherjee) is an Indian actor who works in Bengali language films, television and theatre. In 2012 he made his directorial debut with the film ''Ghete Gho''. He is an active Member of the renowned Theatre Group Chetana. On 22 February 2016 his directorial debut, in the field of Theatre, ''Ghashiram Kotwal'', which is an adaptation on Marathi play, was premiered. In 2018 he directed Don: Taake Bhalo Laage an adaptation of Dale Wasserman's Don Quixote which was translated into Bengali by his father Arun Mukhopadhyay many years back. This play marked the re-entry of his brother and noted director Suman Mukhopadhyay as an actor after 25 years.
