Bob Matteson
Bob Matteson is a retired American soccer player who spent his career as a defender or defensive midfielder. He spent four seasons in the North American Soccer League and earned two caps with the U.S. national team. Youth and college Matteson attended St. Mary's High School where he played on the boys' soccer team. Matteson and his teammates went undefeated during the 1969–1970 season, winning the Missouri state high school championship. In 1970, he entered St. Louis University, playing on the men's soccer team until 1973. At the time, St. Louis was the dominant college soccer team, winning the 1970, 1972 and 1973 NCAA championship. Matteson received individual recognition was a third team All American in 1971 and 1973. In addition to playing for his high school and collegiate teams, Matteson also played with St. Louis Kutis S.C. as a youth player from 1969 to 1974. Davit "Dave Coskunian" Çoşkun, a Turkish-American soccer player of Armenian descent, earned three caps with the U.S. national team. He played one season in the National Professional Soccer League and one in the North American Soccer League. Professional career In 1965, Coşkun began his professional career with İstanbulspor A.Ş. in Turkey. On February 7, 1967, the nineteen-year-old Coskun signed with the Los Angeles Toros of the National Professional Soccer League. The Toros folded at the end of the season, but Coskun remained in the Los Angeles area, playing for various amateur clubs. Barry Barto
Barry Barto is an American retired soccer midfielder and college coach. He played in the North American Soccer League and coached for thirty years at Philadelphia Textile and UNLV. Player College and NASL Barto grew up in Philadelphia where he began playing soccer when eleven years old. He attended Philadelphia Textile where he played on the school's soccer team from 1969 to 1972. He was a two-time second team All-American. He graduated with a degree in marketing. That year the North American Soccer League (NASL) held its first college draft and the Montreal Olympique selected Barto in the third round. Despite his low standing in the draft, Barto finished second to Mike Winter for Rookie of the Year.
