Line 2 (Beijing Subway)
Line 2 of the Beijing Subway () is a rapid transit rail line in central Beijing that runs in a rectangular orbital (metro), loop around the city centre. The line traces the Ming dynasty Beijing city fortifications#Inner city walls, inner city wall, which was demolished and paved over by the 2nd Ring Road and Qianmen Avenue to make room. Line 2, opened in 1984, is the second oldest and one of the busiest of Beijing's subway lines, and to date only one to serve Beijing railway station. All 18 stations on the line are underground. 13 of the 18 stations offer transfers to other lines. Line 2's color is dark blue. The Light Rail Transit Line 2, also known as LRT Line 2, LRT-2, or Megatren, is a rapid transit line in Metro Manila in the Philippines owned and operated by the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA). The line generally runs in an east–west direction between in Manila and . The line is officially referred to as the Purple Line. The Tyne and Wear Metro is an overground and underground light rail rapid transit system serving Newcastle upon Tyne, Gateshead, North Tyneside, South Tyneside, and the City of Sunderland (together forming Tyne and Wear). The South Yorkshire Supertram, sometimes referred to as the Sheffield Supertram, is a tram and tram-train network covering Sheffield and Rotherham in South Yorkshire, England. The network is owned and operated by the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA). Interest in building a modern tram system for Sheffield had mounted during the 1980s. Blue Line was a charter passenger airline with its head office in Building B of Paris Nord 2, Parc des Lumières in Roissy-en-France, France.
