BlaBlaCar Bus
BlaBlaCar bus, formerly BlaBlaBus, Ouibus or iDBUS, operates Coach (scheduled transport), intercity coach services in Europe. Currently, BlaBlaCar Bus serves Aix-en-Provence, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Brussels, Genoa, Lille, London, Lyon, Marseille, Milan, Nice, Paris, Charles de Gaulle Airport, Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, San Sebastián, and Turin. The route network is expanding progressively. BlaBlaCar Bus has three major hubs; Gare de Paris-Bercy-Bourgogne-Pays d'Auvergne, Paris-Bercy, Gare de Lyon-Perrache, Lyon-Perrache, and Gare de Lille Europe, Lille-Europe. Founded in 2012 by SNCF, in November 2018 it was announced that it would be purchased by BlaBlaCar and rebranded as BlaBlaBus. History iDBUS was launched on 23 July 2012 with services to Amsterdam, London, and Brussels from the original hub at Gare de Paris-Bercy-Bourgogne-Pays d'Auvergne, Paris-Bercy. BlaBlaCar is an online marketplace for carpooling headquartered in Paris. Its website and mobile apps connect driving, drivers and passengers willing to travel together between cities and share the cost of the journey, in exchange for a Commission (remuneration), commission of between 18% and 21%. It also operates BlaBlaBus, an intercity bus service. The platform has 26 million active members and is available Europe and Latin America. The service is named for its rating scale for drivers' preferred level of chattiness in the car: "Bla" for not very chatty, "BlaBla" for someone who likes to talk, and "BlaBlaBla" for those who can't keep quiet.
