Birlikte – Zusammenstehen
Birlikte is the name and motto of a series of semi-annual rallies and corresponding cultural festivals against right-wing extremist violence in Germany, which first took place on 9 June 2014 in Cologne. The term "" is Turkish and means "together" (German: ""). Birlikte – Zusammenstehen: 7–9 June 2014 The concept of a cultural festival named "" was based on an idea by , and was further developed and supported by the Cologne Arsch huh, Zäng ussenander (English: "Raise your ass, open your mouth!") campaign. Tom Buhrow
Tom Buhrow (born 29 September 1958) is a German journalist who served as director general of public broadcaster WDR from 2013 to 2024. In this capacity, he also served as chair of the ARD from 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2021 and from 4 August to 31 December 2022. Early life and education Buhrow was born in Troisdorf. Carolin Kebekus
Carolin Kebekus (born 9 May 1980) is a German comedian and television personality. The content of her comedy is highly feminist and satirical. Biography Born in Bergisch Gladbach, Kebekus grew up as daughter of a social education worker and a banker in Köln-Ostheim. Her younger brother David Kebekus is also a comedian. She started her career as an intern at ''Freitag Nacht News'', a weekly comedy show. Ralf Jäger (born 25 March 1961 in Duisburg) is a German politician. He is a member of the Social Democratic Party (Germany), SPD. Since 2000 he has been an MP of the Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia, Landtag, the parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia. Höhner
De Höhner (; ) is a band from Cologne, Germany, singing in the local Kölsch dialect. The group was founded in 1972 by Peter Werner and Janus Fröhlich. During their first year, the band wore chicken costumes, and threw real feathers into the audience. They are particularly successful in the area around Cologne, although they are popular nationwide. The band is famous for performing at the Cologne carnival. Their most popular carnival songs are "''Echte Fründe''", "''Pizza wunderbar''", "''Die Karawane zieht weiter''" and "'' Viva Colonia''". Their song " Wenn nicht jetzt, wann dann?" (''If not now, then when?'') reached number one in Germany in February 2007. Max Herre
Maximilian Herre (born 22 April 1973) is a German rapper, singer-songwriter and music producer who rose to fame as a member of the group Freundeskreis. He is also A&R for the record label Nesola, a joint venture with his wife Joy Denalane, among others. Early life and career Herre was born in Stuttgart. After hearing the 1990s German hip-hop group Advanced Chemistry, he decided to create hip-hop himself in German. He started his first band, Seedless Jam, when he was 15, and his first hip-hop project, Agit Jazz, four years later with music producer Philippe A. Kayser (Don Philippe).
