''So You Think You Can Dance'' is an American television reality program and dance competition airing on the Fox Broadcasting Company network. Season seven premiered on May 27, 2010. In the August 12 finale, Contemporary dance, contemporary/jazz contestant Lauren Froderman was named "America's Favorite Dancer" and received the grand prize of $250,000, as well as an appearance on the cover of ''Dance Spirit'' magazine and in print advertising for Gatorade. William Samuel "Ding Dong" Bell (October 24, 1933 – October 11, 1962) was a Major League Baseball pitcher. Bell played for the Pittsburgh Pirates in and . In 5 career games, he had a 0–1 record, with a 4.32 ERA. He batted and threw right-handed. In 1952, Bell threw three no-hitters while pitching in the Appalachian League. The only other person to do this in professional baseball history is Tom Drees. William V. Bell is an American politician and engineer who served as the mayor of Durham, North Carolina. Formerly a senior engineer for IBM, Bell was first elected to the Durham County Board of Commissioners in 1972, where he served until 1994, and again from 1996 to 2000. He was the chairman of the Durham County Commissioners from 1982 to 1994. Bell was first elected mayor of Durham in 2001 and was subsequently re-elected seven more times. William Thomas Bell (21 January 1932 – 12 February 2013) was an English businessman and football club chairman who was the chair of Port Vale F.C., Port Vale from 1987 to 2002. He spent the first twelve years at the club in partnership with Manager (association football), manager John Rudge, until he controversially sacked Rudge in January 1999. As chairman, he concentrated his efforts on renovating and modernising Vale Park at great financial cost. However, the money for his ambitious projects dried up with his decision to axe Rudge, and he left the club in December 2002 when Port Vale entered Administration (British football), administration. William Bell is an American politician serving as a Republican member of the West Virginia House of Delegates for the 8th district. In July 2025, he was appointed by Governor Patrick Morrisey to replace David Kelly, who left the House to become the Commissioner of the Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation. Bell serves on the Paden City Common Council, is a social studies teacher for Wetzel County Schools, and is an adjunct faculty member at West Virginia University at Parkersburg. William Bradshaw Bell, OBE, JP (9 October 1935 – 9 June 2020) was a Northern Irish Ulster Unionist Party (UUP) politician who served as Lord Mayor of Belfast. He was also a Member of the Northern Ireland Assembly (MLA) for Lagan Valley from 1998 to 2007. Life career Bell served as a Councillor on Belfast City Council from 1976 to 1985 and was Lord Mayor of Belfast from 1979 to 1980. He also served on Lisburn Council (1989–2007) and was Mayor of the City of Lisburn in 2003. He was Personal Assistant to MP Rt Hon Sir James Molyneaux from 1976 to 1997. Pickleball is a racket or paddle sport in which two or four players use a smooth-faced paddle to hit a perforated, hollow plastic ball over a net until one side is unable to return the ball or commits a rule infraction. Pickleball is played indoors and outdoors. It was invented in 1965 as a children's backyard game in the United States, on Bainbridge Island in Washington State. In 2021, pickleball was named the official state sport of Washington. Aspects of the sport resemble tennis and table tennis played on a doubles badminton court, but pickleball has specific scoring rules, paddles, balls and court lines.
