William Percy Osborne (4 November 1902 – 4 July 1984) was an Australian rules footballer who played with St Kilda in the Victorian Football League The Victorian Football League (VFL) is an Australian rules football competition in Australia operated by the Australian Football League (AFL) as a second-tier, regional, semi-professional competition. Establishment The first issue of the paper was published on 22 July 1922 and, for the first four weeks, it was published only on Saturday evenings. On 16 August 1922, a Wednesday afternoon edition was also introduced. Printed on pink paper, the paper was published by Walter R. May for The Herald and Weekly Times at the corner of Flinders and Russell streets, Melbourne. Initially the Saturday edition was priced at 2 d, and the larger Wednesday edition at 3d.
