Bilal El Najjarine
Bilal Mohamad Saadi Cheikh El Najjarine (; born 8 February 1981), or simply Bilal El Najjarine, is a Lebanese former professional Association football, footballer who played as a centre-back. At club level he most notably played for Nejmeh SC, Nejmeh, also playing in India and the United Arab Emirates. He represented Lebanon national football team, Lebanon internationally between 2004 and 2015. Club career El Najjarine joined Nejmeh SC, Nejmeh on 18 August 2003. After eight years, he moved to NSW Premier League side Bankstown City Lions in June 2011, making his debut on 19 June in a 1–0 win over Rockdale City Suns. He played three league games in total. Lebanon National Football Team
The Lebanon national football team, controlled by the Lebanese Football Association (LFA), have represented Lebanon in association football since their inception in 1933. The squad is governed by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) continentally, and FIFA worldwide. While Lebanon have yet to qualify for the FIFA World Cup, they have qualified three times to the AFC Asian Cup: they first participated in 2000, when they hosted the event. Lebanon's main venue is the Camille Chamoun Sports City Stadium in Beirut; however, they also play in other locations such as the Saida Municipal Stadium in Sidon. Having joined FIFA in 1936, Lebanon played their first FIFA-recognised game in 1940 against Mandatory Palestine. Mariano Dias
Mariano Dias (born 10 February 1960) is an Indian football coach and former player who was previously the head coach for Churchill Brothers S.C. in the I-League. Playing career Dias started his footballing career in 1981 for Salgaocar S.C. and stayed till 1989 when he moved to MRF FC. He stayed at MRF till 1993 and he signed with Churchill Brothers. He stayed at Churchill Brothers till he retired one year later in 1994. Coaching career Dias started coaching the India U14 football team in 2007 during the 2007 AFC U14 Festival. He stayed with India U14 for one year. In 2008 Dias signed with SESA Football Academy. He coached SESA during the 2009 I-League 2nd Division in which SESA failed to gain promotion. The Lebanese Elite Cup () was a Lebanese football annual cup competition contested by the top six teams of the previous Lebanese Premier League season. Founded in 1996 as the Super League Cup, the first edition was played by the top five finishers of the league and the Lebanese FA Cup winners. 2015–16 Lebanese FA Cup
The 2015–16 Lebanese FA Cup was the 44th edition of the national football cup competition of Lebanon. It started with the First Round on 16 October 2015 and concluded with the final on 5 June 2016. The Lebanon Cup (), commonly known as the Lebanese FA Cup, is an annual knockout football competition in domestic Lebanese football. In the first FA Cup final, held on 26 June 1938, Nahda beat Hilmi-Sport 3–2 in the replay (after drawing 1–1 the first match). 2008–09 Lebanese Premier League
The 2008–09 Lebanese Premier League is the 48th season of Lebanon's football league. The league kicked off on October 11, 2008, Safa SC defeated Salam Zgharta at the opener. In that game, Mohammad Kassas scored the first goal of the season for Safa. Al Ahed is the defending champion. Salam Zgharta and Shahab Al-Ghazieh promoted from the second division. Prior to the start, Tripoli SC announced its withdrawal due to several problems. Lebanese Football Federation confirmed the withdrawal on October 9, the league is going to resume with 11 teams.
