2004–05 Lebanese Premier League
The 2004–05 season of the Lebanese Premier League was the 44th season of Top-Flight Professional League Football (soccer) in Lebanon. This season featured 11 clubs once more from across the nation. Lebanese Premier League
The Lebanese First Division (), commonly known as the Lebanese Premier League (), is the top division of the Lebanese football league system. Established in 1934 and organized by the Lebanese Football Association (LFA), the Lebanese Premier League is one of the oldest in the Middle East, originally launched under the name Edmond Rubeiz Cup. Throughout its history, the league has experienced several interruptions due to political instability and conflict. As of the 2024–25 Lebanese Premier League, 2024–25 season, the league features 12 clubs and employs a split-season format, with a regular season followed by championship and relegation rounds. Al Ahed Football Club () is a football club based in Ouzai, a district in Beirut, Lebanon, that competes in the Lebanese Premier League, the top flight of Lebanese football. The club was founded in 1964 as Al Ahed Al Jadeed, initially starting in the Third Division before reaching the Premier League for the first time in 1996. Mohmoud Chahoud
Mahmoud Chahoud (; born 3 February 1976) is a Lebanese former footballer who played as a forward. Chahoud began his career at Ahed in 1999, before joining Ansar in 2004. He won two consecutive domestic doubles, during the 2005–06 and 2006–07 seasons. In 2007 Chahoud moved to Sagesse, before joining Ahli Saida in 2009; he retired in 2010. Chahoud represented Lebanon internationally between 2000 and 2004, scoring four goals in 19 matches. Club career Chahoud began his senior career at Lebanese Premier League side Ahed, during the 1999–2000 season. Faisal Antar
Faisal Abdelhassan Antar (; born 20 December 1978) is a Lebanese former footballer who played as a defender. He played his entire career in the Lebanese Premier League, for Tadamon Sour, Olympic Beirut, Nejmeh, and Mabarra. Antar also represented the Lebanese national team at the 2000 AFC Asian Cup, where he had been present for the national team from 1998 to 2007. Faisal is the brother of former footballer Roda Antar. In June 2010, Antar announced his retirement and became a Hall of Famer in the Lebanese Football Association. Moussa Hojeij
Moussa Ali Hojeij (; born 6 August 1974) is a Lebanese football manager and former player. Hojeij was the best player in the Al-Manar Football Festival several times, and was captain of the national team. He is also a match analyst for Lebanon national team matches on beIN Sports. Club career Hojeij joined Nejmeh's youth team on 26 February 1993. In 2000, Hojeij became the first captain to win the Lebanese Premier League title for Nejmeh after the civil war. In 2006 he was released by Nejmeh after scoring a total of 75 league goals, and signed with Mabarra.
