Bernard Antony (born 28 November 1944) is a French politician. He served as a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) from 1984 to 1999. Tarbes (; Gascon: ''Tarba'') is a commune in the Hautes-Pyrénées department in the Occitanie region of southwestern France. It is the capital of Bigorre and of the Hautes-Pyrénées. It has been a commune since 1790. It was known as ''Turba'' or ''Tarba'' in Roman times. Tarbes is part of the historical region of Gascony. The General Alliance against Racism and for Respect for French and Christian Identity (french: Alliance générale contre le racisme et pour le respect de l'identité française et chrétienne; AGRIF) is a French organization tied to the far-right and Catholic integralism that fights against speech it considers to violate French hate speech laws by being hateful towards Christians or the French people.
