Bernadeth is an extraterrestrial supervillainess appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. Publication history She first appeared in ''Mister Miracle'' #6 (February 1972) and was created by Jack Kirby. Fictional character biography Bernadeth is the co-leader of the Female Furies and the sister of Darkseid's servant DeSaad. She is killed by Lashina, who is in turn killed by Darkseid before he resurrects them both. Lashina later appears as a member of the Dark Side Club. In ''The New 52'', Darkseid's daughter Grail enslaves him, leading Big Barda and the Furies to work together to rescue him. The Female Furies are a group of women warriors and supervillains appearing in comics published by DC Comics. All of them are New Gods who serve Darkseid. They operate directly under Granny Goodness, who trains all of Darkseid's soldiers. Lashina
Lashina is a supervillain appearing in comics published by DC Comics. She is a New God from Apokolips and a member of the Female Furies who wields electrified whips. Lashina has appeared in various media outside comics, primarily in association with the New Gods. Diane Michelle, Nika Futterman, and Meredith Salenger have voiced the character in animation. Dark Side Club
The Dark Side Club is a fictional underground club in DC Comics, coming to prominence in the ''Final Crisis'' limited series. Fictional history Originating from the ''Seven Soldiers: Mister Miracle'' mini-series, the Dark Side Club serves as the stronghold for Darkseid and the Apokoliptian New Gods stranded on Earth and a recruiting central for new loyal servants. Similar in concept to Roulette's fight club, the Dark Side Club provides his wealthy patrons with an underground fighting ring, where brainwashed metahumans are forced to fight in often deadly battles. In a human recreation of Granny Goodness' orphanage, the captured metahumans, usually the youngest or the most obscure, are fed drugs concocted by Bernadeth and routinely abused and controlled by Granny. New Genesis
The New Gods are a fictional extraterrestrial race appearing in the eponymous comic book series published by DC Comics, as well as selected other DC titles. Publication history Volume 1 (1971) The New Gods are natives of the twin planets of New Genesis and Apokolips. New Genesis is an idyllic planet filled with unspoiled forests, mountains, and rivers and ruled by the benevolent Highfather, while Apokolips is a nightmarish, polluted dystopia filled with machinery and fire pits, ruled by the tyrannical Darkseid.
