Justice League Action
''Justice League Action'' is an American superhero animated television series based on the DC Comics superhero team Justice League. The series is produced by Jim Krieg, Butch Lukic, and Alan Burnett. The show debuted on Cartoon Network UK on November 26, 2016, and premiered in the United States on Cartoon Network on December 16 the same year. The first season concluded on June 3, 2018, marking an end to the series. Plot The series features the adventures of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and all the members of the Justice League as they fight various megavillains and other threats to protect Earth. ''Justice League Unlimited'' (''JLU'') is an American superhero animated series that was produced by Warner Bros. Animation with DC Comics in season 3 and aired on Cartoon Network. Featuring a wide array of superheroes from the DC Universe, and specifically based on the Justice League superhero team, it is a direct sequel to the previous '' Justice League'' animated series and picks up around two years after it. ''JLU'' debuted on July 31, 2004, on Toonami and ended on May 13, 2006. It is the eighth and final series of the DC Animated Universe, serving as the conclusion to a shared universe which began with '' Batman: The Animated Series''. DeSaad
DeSaad (also spelled Desaad) is a supervillain, appearing in books published by DC Comics. He is one of the followers of Darkseid from the planet Apokolips in Fourth World (comics), Jack Kirby's Fourth World meta-series. As DeSaad serves as Darkseid's master torturer, his name refers to the Marquis de Sade. At one point, DeSaad had an assistant named Justeen, a reference to de Sade's novel ''Justine (de Sade novel), Justine'', although she bore little resemblance to the title character. Steve Byers portrays DeSaad in the television series ''Smallville''. The character made his cinematic debut in ''Zack Snyder's Justice League'' (2021), portrayed through voice and motion capture by Peter Guinness (actor), Peter Guinness. General Zod
General Zod is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, commonly as an List of Superman enemies, adversary of the superhero Superman. The character, who first appeared in ''Adventure Comics'' #283 (April 1961), was created by Robert Bernstein (comics), Robert Bernstein and initially designed by George Papp. As a Krypton (comics), Kryptonian, he exhibits the same powers and abilities as Superman and is consequently viewed as one of his greatest enemies alongside Lex Luthor, Darkseid, and Brainiac (character), Brainiac.
