Ben Kennedy (goalkeeper)
Benjamin Kennedy (born 14 February 1987) is an Australian professional soccer player who plays as a Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper for Lambton Jaffas FC, Lambton Jaffas in the National Premier Leagues Northern NSW. Club career Newcastle Jets Kennedy was a train-on player for the Newcastle Jets FC, Newcastle Jets, but was brought into the full squad for the 2006–07 A-League, 2006–07 season. Until half-way through the season, Newcastle only had the inexperienced Kennedy as a registered goalkeeper in their squad, until former Socceroo Ante Covic joined the squad. Kennedy became the Jets first-choice goalkeeper for the 2009–10 A-League, 2009–10 season thanks to some strong performances in the 2009 AFC Champions League, after the departure of Ante Covic to Sweden. The 2014–15 A-League was the 38th season of top-flight soccer in Australia, and the 10th season of the A-League since its establishment in 2004. Thomas William Glover (born 24 December 1997) is an Australian professional footballer who currently plays as a goalkeeper for Championship side Middlesbrough. A-League Men (known as the Isuzu UTE A-League for sponsorship reasons) is the highest-level professional men's soccer league in Australia and New Zealand. The F3 Derby is an association football rivalry between Central Coast Mariners and Newcastle Jets. It is the longest standing derby in the A-League Men. The rivalry originated due to the team's relative geographical proximity, with the Mariners located on the Central Coast of New South Wales, the Jets in Newcastle, immediately to the north. The two clubs were also the only two clubs from outside capital cities in the inaugural A-League seasons, which contributed to the rivalry. Lachlan Robert Tua Jackson (born 12 March 1995) is an Australian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for K League 1 club Suwon.
