Ben Goldsborough
Ben Goldsborough (born 1990 or 1991) is a British Labour politician, political consultant and former local Councillor who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for South Norfolk since the 2024 general election. Prior to being elected as a Member of Parliament, he was a Councillor in Flint, Wales, where he held the position of Deputy Mayor and, later, Mayor of the town. Prior to being selected as the Labour candidate for South Norfolk he sought the nomination for the Clwyd East constituency, losing out to Becky Gittins. Richard Michael Bacon (born 3 December 1962) is a British politician who served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for South Norfolk from 2001 until 2024. He is a member of the Conservative Party. Early life Bacon was educated at The King's School, Worcester and then studied at the London School of Economics and Political Science, gaining a first in Politics and Economics. He was also executive editor of the student newspaper, '' The Beaver''. Flint, Flintshire
Flint () is a town and community in Flintshire, Wales, lying on the estuary of the River Dee. It is the former county town of Flintshire. According to the 2011 Census, the population of the community of Flint was 12,953, increasing to 13,732 at the 2021 census. The urban area including Holywell and Bagillt had a population of 26,442. Geography Flint is located in north-east Wales, adjoining the estuary of the River Dee, to the north of the town of Mold. Rebecca Gittins (born 1994) is a British Labour Party politician who has served as Member of Parliament for Clwyd East since 2024. She gained the seat by beating incumbent Conservative MP, James Davies. Career After coming to Coventry to study at the University of Warwick in 2013, she remained in the city, eventually being elected as a councillor for Earlsdon ward in Coventry City Council for the Labour Party, serving from 5 May 2019 to 18 September 2023.
