VC Belogorie Belgorod () is a Russian professional volleyball club based in Belgorod, which is participating in the Russian Volleyball Super League. VC Belogorie won the Russian Championship and the Russian Cup eight times each. The club is also a three-times CEV Champions League champion. Sergey Tetyukhin
Sergey Yuryevich Tetyukhin (; born 23 September 1975) is a former Russian volleyball player. He was born in Fergana, Uzbekistan. He is 1.97 m tall, and plays as passer-attacker. Together with Samuele Papi and Sérgio Santos, he is one of only three male volleyball players who have accumulated four Olympic medals in the course of their long sporting careers. Tetyukhin, however, has the distinction of being the only volleyball player in the world (male or female) with four Olympic medals who has all three types of those awards, including gold at the London Olympics. He competed at six Summer Olympics, having been the flag-bearer in 2016. CEV Champions League
The CEV Champions League is the top official competition for men's volleyball clubs from the whole of Europe. The competition is organised every year by the European Volleyball Confederation. Formula (2018–19 to present) Qualification A total of 20 teams participate in the main competition, with 18 teams being allocated direct vacancies on the basis of ranking list for European Cup Competitions, and 2 teams from the qualification rounds. League round 20 teams take part in the League round where they are split into 5 groups. Aleksandr Aleksandrovich Volkov (; born 14 February 1985) is a former Russian volleyball player, a member of Russia men's national volleyball team. He was 2012 Olympic Champion, bronze medalist of the 2008 Olympic Games, gold medalist of the 2011 World Cup, silver medalist of the 2007 European Championship, multimedalist of the World League. Nemanja Petrić ( sr-cyrl, Немања Петрић; born 28 July 1987) is a Serbian professional volleyball player. He is a member of the Serbia national team and the 2019 European Champion. At the professional club level, he plays for the Turkish team, Spor Toto. FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship
The FIVB Men's Volleyball Club World Championship is an international men's club volleyball competition organised by the ''Fédération Internationale de Volleyball'' (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The competition was first contested in 1989 in Italy. It was not held between 1993 and 2008, but since 2009, the competition has been held every year, and has been hosted by Qatar and Brazil except in 2017 and 2018 where both hosted by Poland. The current champions are Brazil's Sada Cruzeiro, who defeated Italy's Trentino Itas (3–1) in the final of the 2024 and won their fifth title of the competition. Italian teams have been the most successful, with twelve titles, and in all editions but 2015, at least one Italian team take part in the event.
