The Russian Volleyball Super League (RVSL) () is the top league of Russian professional volleyball. It was founded in 1992, and it is considered to be the continuer of the Soviet top league, founded in 1933. The European Volleyball Confederation ( or ''CEV'') is the continental sports governing body, governing body for the sports of volleyball, indoor volleyball, beach volleyball and snow volleyball in Europe.
