The Seversky Donets () or Siverskyi Donets (), usually simply called the Donets (), is a river on the south of the East European Plain. It originates in the Central Russian Upland, north of Belgorod, flows south-east through Ukraine (Kharkiv, Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts) and then again through Russia (Rostov Oblast) to join the river Don, about from the Sea of Azov. Valentin Valentinovich Demidov (; born on 28 November 1976), is a Russian politician who is currently the 8th head of Belgorod, since 17 January 2023. He had also served as the 5th head of Simferopol from 2021 to 2022 and as the Minister of Economic Development of the Republic of Crimea from 2015 to 2016. Andrey Kvasov
Andrey Vasilievich Kvasov (, – ) was a Russian Baroque architect who worked in Russia, including the territory of modern-day Ukraine. Very little is known about his life, and its dates are still uncertain. Only a handful of his buildings, though much altered, still stand. Career In 1741, Kvasov helped Mikhail Zemtsov to prepare coronation celebrations in Moscow. Two years later, he was entrusted with interior decoration of the Catherine Palace, which resulted in the Grand Ball Hall and other celebrated rooms.
