''Belajar dari Rumah'' (''Study from Home'' or ''Learning from Home'', abbreviated as BDR) is an Indonesian educational programming block created by Ministry of Education and Culture in TV Edukasi to facilitate education via television in times of COVID-19 pandemic. Originally aired in partnership with the Indonesian public television network TVRI, the block was moved to TV Edukasi starting in April 2021. On weekdays, ''Belajar dari Rumah'' consisted of preschool program and instructional programming for all school levels (primary school, junior high school, and senior high school) as well as parenting program and selected national movies on primetime Prime time or the peak time is the block of broadcast programming taking place during the middle of the evening for a television show. TVRI (TV Channel)
TVRI (also referred to as TVRI Nasional, TVRI Siaran Nasional, or Kanal 1 TVRI Nasional, formerly also known as TVRI Stasiun Pusat Jakarta) is the main national public television channel owned by LPP Televisi Republik Indonesia (TVRI). The channel began broadcasting on 24 August 1962, making it the first television station in Indonesia. The channel was also the only television channel choice in Indonesia until 1989, when Programa Dua TVRI (now TVRI Jakarta) in Jakarta broadcast separately from TVRI and private television stations began broadcasting. TV Edukasi (''Educational TV'', formerly TVE) is an Indonesian television station owned by Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. It serves to spread information to the education sector. History The station was made official by the Minister of National Education Abdul Malik Fadjar on 12 October 2004. As a part of widening TVE's reach to larger Indonesian audiences, TVE partnered with Indonesian public television network TVRI — under the partnership the TVE daytime broadcasts was relayed by TVRI starting in 2004. TVRI (, Television of the Republic of Indonesia), legally ( Public Broadcasting Institution Television of the Republic of Indonesia) is a public television network and the oldest television network in Indonesia. Its national headquarters is in Gelora, Central Jakarta. TVRI monopolized television broadcasting in Indonesia until 24 August 1989, when the first commercial television station RCTI went on the air.
