Beladingala Baale
''Beladingala Baale'' () is a 1995 Kannada-language film directed by Sunil Kumar Desai, starring Anant Nag and Suman Nagarkar. It is based on a Telugu novel titled '' Vennello Adapilla'' by Yandamuri Veerendranath which was translated into Kannada by Vamshi titled ''Beladingala Baale'' which was also serialised in ''Sudha'', a Kannada weekly magazine. Vamshi, who translated the novel into Kannada, wrote dialogues for the movie or rather dialogues from the novel are adapted in the film without any modifications. The story revolves around Revanth (played by Ananth Nag), a chess grandmaster who is set to find out the identity of his fan, who calls him often and whom he refers to as "Beladingala Baale". Beladingala Baale gives Revanth the clues to find her out. How Revanth accomplishes his task forms the gist of the movie. Sunil Kumar Desai
Sunil Kumar Desai is an Indian film director, writer and producer, known for his work in Kannada cinema. In most of his films, Desai blends art and commercial cinema. He has written and directed Thriller (genre), Thrillers and Romance films. He has won the Karnataka State Film Awards (4 times) in the Best Screenplay & Best Dialogues categories. He has also won the Filmfare awards 4 times. Desai worked with South Indian musicians like Illayaraja, Hamsalekha and Gunasingh. Early life Desai was born in 1955 in Bijapur, Karnataka. S. Shivaram (28 January 1938 – 4 December 2021), popularly known simply as Shivaram or Shivaramanna, was an Indian actor, producer and director whose Kannada cinema career has spanned six decades. Chandrika Gururaj
Chandrika Gururaj (born 4 October 1959), is an Indian playback singer, known for her works in Kannada. Apart from film songs, she has also recorded numerous devotional, bhaavageethe and folk songs. For her song "O Priyatama" in the movie ''Urvashi'', Chandrika won the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer in 1994. Karnataka Government honoured her with the Karnataka Rajyotsava Award for her contribution to music, in 2010. Personal life Chandrika was born on 4 October 1959 in Tumkur to Rangarao and Lalithamma. Doddarangegowda (born 7 February 1946) is an Indian poet and lyricist working in Kannada cinema. He is a retired professor of Kannada and has published a number of anthologies in Kannada. He has released several audio cassettes and CDs of his poems. Some of his noteworthy songs are ''Tera Yeri Ambaradaage'' and ''Notadaage Nageya Meeti'' of Parasangada Gendethimma, ''Nammoora Mandara Hoove'' of Aalemane, ''Sri Rama Bandavne'' of Paduvaaralli Pandavaru.
