Doddarange Gowda
Doddarangegowda is a Kannada poet and a lyricist working for Kannada cinema. He is a retired professor of Kannada and has published a number of anthologies in Kannada. He has released several audio cassettes and CDs of his poems. Some of his noteworthy songs are ''Tera Yeri Ambaradaage'' and ''Notadaage Nageya Meeti'' of Parasangada Gendethimma, ''Nammoora Mandara Hoove'' of Aalemane, ''Sri Rama Bandavne'' of Paduvaaralli Pandavaru. He was also a Bharatiya Janata Party MLC. In 2018, he was awarded with the civilian award Padma Shri. Early life Doddarangegowda was born on 7 February 1946 to K. Rangegowda and Akkamma.His wife Rajeshwari Gowda a kannada Professor. Career Doddarangegowda worked as a professor of Kannada in SLN College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Bengaluru and later served as Principal. Syed Sallauddin Pasha
Syed Sallauddin Pasha is a Bharatanatyam and Kathak dancer, Choreographer, Actor and Founder, artistic director of Ability Unlimited, and a therapeutic dance theater on Wheelchairs in India. He is recognised for his pioneering theater productions for persons with special needs. In 2007 he received the National Award for the welfare of persons with disabilities in 2007-08 from Pratibha Patil. Pasha is a Limca Book of Records holder for creating 100 dance theater productions and directing over 10,000 performances with people of different - abilities. His student Gulshan Kumar entered in the Guinness Book of World Records for spinning his wheelchair 63 times in one minute in 2011. Pasha is a trained and established Bharatanatyam Dancer. Kavya (film)
''Kavya'' is a 1995 Indian Kannada-language romantic drama film directed and co-produced by Kodlu Ramakrishna and based on the novel written by Vijaya Thandavamurthy and Ramakrishna himself. The film cast includes Ramkumar, Sudharani and Sithara with Sudharani playing the titular role. The film was produced under Spandana Films banner and the original score and soundtrack were composed by Sadhu Kokila. Kannada Poets
Kannada (; ಕನ್ನಡ, ), originally romanised Canarese, is a Dravidian language spoken predominantly by the people of Karnataka in southwestern India, with minorities in all neighbouring states. It has around 47 million native speakers, and was additionally a second or third language for around 13 million non-native speakers in Karnataka. ''Aruna Raaga'' ( kn, ಅರುಣರಾಗ) is a 1986 Indian Kannada-language action drama film, starring Anant Nag and Geetha. It was directed by K. V.
