Behm (singer)
Rita Marketta Behm (born 26 October 1994) is a Finnish singer and songwriter. She uses her surname as her stage name. Behm rose to popularity in 2019 when Warner Music Finland released her hit single ''Hei rakas'', a number 1 hit in Finland for 10 consecutive weeks. Career In 2016, Rita Behm, originally from Hollola, participated in a music camp organized by the Finnish rock band Apulanta. Her intention was to further her career as a songwriter. At the camp she met another young singer, Ella-Noora Kouhia, with whom she founded a duo called Behm & Ellis. In 2017, Behm sang the chorus for rapper Pikku G's hit single "Solmussa", and consequently began working on her debut album. The first single from the album, "Hei rakas", became a big hit in Finnish charts in 2019, holding number one position for 10 consequtive weeks and ending up being one of the most played singles on Finnish radio stations in 2019 and 2020. Ruisrock
Ruisrock is a rock festival held annually on the island of Ruissalo in Turku, Finland. Ruisrock, founded in 1970, is the second oldest rock festival in Europe (after Pinkpop) and the oldest in Finland. The festival has attracted international artists throughout its lifetime except around the start of the 2000s (decade), due to the organiser's economic issues. History The festival area is divided into two sections, Niittyalue ("meadow section") and Ranta-alue ("beach section"). In 2005, when the German industrial metal band Rammstein performed at the festival, 71,000 visitors attended the festival. In recent years, the number of visitors has fluctuated around 70,000. Cledos
Vladislav Heponen, known professionally as Cledos, is a Finnish rapper. Biography Born in East Helsinki, he first gained attention with the release of his single ''Töis''. While Heponen had no previous experience in rapping, his friend who worked in the music industry suggested that they should make a song. It was published in 2017 and included in his first mixtape ''Boboff Tape'', which entered the top ten of Suomen virallinen lista. The lyrics contained various inside jokes from his group of friends, slang and slapstick. Impressed by the public's response to the song, several record companies and producers became interested, and Cledos signed with the record label PME Records. Miki Liukkonen
Miki Liukkonen (8 July 1989 – 4 July 2023) was a Finnish writer, poet and musician. He wrote five novels, the last of which, ''Vierastila'', was released posthumously in September 2023 and nominated for a Finlandia Prize. Liukkonen had previously received one nomination for his 2017 novel ''O.'' Liukkonen played guitar in an alternative rock band ''The Scenes'', and hosted a television talk show ''Miki Liukkonen, sivullinen''. Personal life and death Liukkonen was born in Oulu, but later moved to Helsinki. He openly discussed his addiction to alcohol, which led to him becoming a teetotaller in 2020. Liukkonen was in a relationship with singer and songwriter Behm from 2022 until the spring of 2023. Liukkonen died by suicide on 4 July 2023, at the age of 33.
