Becca (musician)
Rebecca Emily Hollcraft (born May 9, 1989) is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist, known professionally as Becca, Becca-chan, and Bec Hollcraft. From 2012 to 2015, she was the lead singer in the rock band Stars in Stereo. Early life Hollcraft was born in Portland, Oregon. She began singing and writing songs at a young age and started playing guitar when she was 10 years old. When she was 13, a family friend recorded her at a choir event in school. The tape found its way to Meredith Brooks, who had been looking for a new artist to develop. "Bec has a powerhouse voice, and when I realized she could write songs, too… I was sold," said Meredith. Career 2008–2011: Solo career With the support of her parents, Hollcraft spent her summer vacation that year in Los Angeles with Meredith working on demos. Hoobastank (sometimes stylized as h∞bastank, and originally known as Hoobustank) is an American rock band formed in 1994 in Agoura Hills, California, by lead vocalist Doug Robb, guitarist Dan Estrin, drummer Chris Hesse, and original bassist Markku Lappalainen. It had Ryan "Frogs" McCormack on bass guitar instead of Justin Siegel, who left in 2013 to pursue other interests. The album contained 11 new songs self-produced by the band's own indie record label, Hundred Handed Inc. and included the singles "Leave Your Mark" and "Fair-Weather Friend". The album received mixed but generally positive reviews and even had some minor rock music ''Billboard'' success, proving to be marginally more successful than their previous album. Bullet for My Valentine, often abbreviated as BFMV, are a Welsh heavy metal band from Bridgend, formed in 1998. The band is currently composed of Matthew Tuck (vocals, rhythm guitar), Michael Paget (lead guitar), Jason Bowld (drums) and Jamie Mathias (bass). Former members include Michael Thomas, Jason James and Nick Crandle; the latter were on bass. Drowning Pool is an American rock band formed in Dallas, Texas, in 1996. The band was named after the 1975 film '' The Drowning Pool''. Since its formation, the band has consisted of guitarist C.J. Pierce, drummer Mike Luce and bassist Stevie Benton, as well as a revolving cast of vocalists.
