Bandit (TV Series)
''Bandit'' is a Welsh-language music television show on S4C, produced by Boomerang Plus. It included live performances, videos and interviews and was presented by Huw Stephens, Elis James, Sarra Elgan, Rhydian Bowen Phillips and Huw Evans. The programme aimed to raise the profile of Welsh-language popular music but also included music from Wales with lyrics in other languages (usually English). The last episode of ''Bandit'' was broadcast on 28 December 2011, after a decade of being on the air. The special show was presented by Stephens and Evans. The ''Bandit'' team also used to organise several gigs each year and the show was considered to be S4C's flagship music programme. Huw Stephens
Huw Meredydd Stephens (born 25 May 1981) is a Welsh radio and television presenter, currently broadcasting on BBC Radio Wales, BBC Radio Cymru and BBC Radio 6 Music. Stephens founded the Sŵn music festival with John Rostron and the yearly showcase Welsh Language Music Day. Stephens produced the 2018 documentary film ''Anorac'' about the Welsh language music scene. He presented the ''Cofiwch Dryweryn'' documentary for S4C, following the history of the graffiti that his father painted in 1963, and ''The Story of Welsh Art'', a 3-part documentary series for the BBC. He also presented ''Cymru Rising'' on BBC Radio 4, documenting the Welsh language music scene. Elis James
Owain Elis James (born 3 November 1980) is a Welsh comedian, broadcaster and actor. James is known as a stand-up comedian and for his weekly radio show and podcast for BBC Radio 5 Live, his football punditry and presenting, and his TV acting roles. James's first language is Welsh and he performs stand-up in English and Welsh. Early life James was born in Haverfordwest and grew up in Carmarthen. He has two younger sisters, Carys and Nia. James's mother worked with the father of fellow Welsh comedian Rhod Gilbert and the mother of Welsh musician Euros Childs. James studied Modern History and Politics at Cardiff University. Sarra Elgan
Sarra Elgan Easterby (born 1979) is a Welsh journalist and television presenter. She has covered rugby union for numerous media outlets. Early life Born in Neath, she is the daughter of Kathryn Rees and former Neath RFC, Wales and British Lions rugby union player, Elgan Rees. Career Elgan studied theatre, media and music at Trinity College, Carmarthen; soon afterwards she took a role in Welsh soap opera ''Pobol y Cwm''.
