Babirah (, ) is a village located in the Tel Kaif District of the Ninawa Governorate in northern Iraq. The village is located ca. southwest of Telskuf in the Nineveh Plains. It belongs to the disputed territories of Northern Iraq. Sheikh Hasan ibn Sheikh ‘Adī II () is a holy and historical figure who is revered in Yazidism and considered the physical or earthly incarnation of Melik Şêxsin, one of the Seven Divine Beings to whom God assigned the World's affairs. Melik Şêxsin is associated with the Pen and consequently with writing and books, he is thus called Xudanê Qelemê (The Master of the Pen). Tesqopa
Tesqopa (, ) or Tel Skuf (), also ''Tel Eskof'' or ''Tall Asqaf'' is a town in northern Iraq located approximately 19 miles (about 28 kilometres) north of Mosul. The town is populated by Assyrians and they are members of the Chaldean Catholic Church. The town was captured by ISIS briefly in August 2014 but was recaptured by Kurdish Peshmerga in August 2016. Many of the residents of the town returned with aid from Hungary, while a large portion has migrated to Europe. Nineveh Plains (, Modern ; ; ) is a region in Nineveh Governorate in Iraq. Located to the north and east of the city Mosul, it is the only Christian-majority region in Iraq and have been a gathering point for Iraqi Christians since 2003.
