Dick Axelsson (born 25 April 1987) is a Swedish former professional ice hockey winger. He last played for Djurgårdens IF in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). He was drafted 62nd overall by the Detroit Red Wings in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. Axelsson won the Swedish Championship with Färjestads in 2009, and 2011 when he also made the Elitserien All-Star team. The Malexander murders ( sv, Malexandermorden) were the murders of two police officers, Robert Karlström and Olle Borén, at Malexander, Sweden, on 28 May 1999. The murders were committed after a bank robbery in Kisa earlier that day. Three men were convicted of the crimes, Tony Olsson, Andreas Axelsson and former mercenary Jackie Arklöv. Sun Axelsson (19 August 1935 in Gothenburg, Sweden – 14 January 2011 in Stockholm) was a Swedish poet, novelist, translator and journalist. Life Axelsson was the youngest daughter of the master gardener Karl Edvin Axelsson and Mignon Axelsson. She went to school in her home town of Gothenburg and then she continued at the University of Stockholm where she took a graduate degree in teaching and journalism. As reporter she worked for the literary review magazines BLM and Ord and Bild, and also in daily newspapers: Expressen, Aftonbladet and Stockholms-Tidningen. In 1959, Axelsson debuted with her first collection of poetry: Goalless (Mållös), and then she travelled extensively, with lengthy stays in Latin America, France and Greece. Kurt Axelsson (10 November 1941 – 15 December 1984) was a Swedish professional footballer who played as a defender. He represented GAIS, Club Brugge, and A.S.V. Oostende K.M. during a career that spanned between 1964 and 1976. A full international between 1966 and 1971, he won 30 caps for the Sweden national team and represented his country at the 1970 FIFA World Cup. Niklas Axelsson (born 15 May 1972) is a Swedish former professional road racing cyclist. Axelsson finished sixth during the 1999 Giro d'Italia and third in the 2000 edition of Giro di Lombardia. He is banned from sports for life for doping. Doping Axelsson tested positive for EPO in the 2001 UCI Road World Championships in Lisbon and later admitted his guilt. He was suspended for four years by the Swedish Cycling Federation (SCF) but made an early comeback in 2004. He was diagnosed with testicular cancer in 2007 but made a complete recovery.
