Avatar Records (Electronic)
Avatar Records is a Tel Aviv-based independent record label and digital distributor specializing in electronic music, providing music to online retailers including Apple Music, iTunes, Spotify and Beatport. The company was founded by Avichay Avigal and Peter Eibenschutz in 1997. The label initially had an alliance with NMC Music, when it first started as its subsidiary. Later, Avatar was in collaboration with BNE, before finally becoming a fully independent label. Electric Universe is a psychedelic trance project from Germany formed by Boris Blenn and Michael Dressler in 1991. Their first EP release, ''Solar Energy'', was an instant hit with the underground trance scene and is often credited with putting the Spirit Zone Recordings label at the forefront of psychedelic trance early on. Total Eclipse (French Band)
Total Eclipse is a psychedelic trance band founded in 1992 by three French musicians: Stéphane Holweck, Serge Souque and Loïc Vanpoucke. Stéphane Holweck is now the sole member. Their first tracks appeared on a few compilations in 1993, and by 1994 they had a few singles out with Dragonfly Records and T.I.P. Records. Their first full-length album, '' Delta Aquarids'', and the double CD ''Violent Relaxation'' were released in 1995 and 1996 respectively, both on Blue Room Released. They also had a single song, "Psychedelic Terrorist", on the album Tsunami, released in 1999. Propaganda are a German synth-pop band formed in Düsseldorf in 1982. They signed a recording contract with ZTT Records as early as 1983 and released their first single "Dr Mabuse" in 1984. Followed by their debut studio album, the critically acclaimed '' A Secret Wish'', in 1985. Two of the album's singles, " Dr. Mabuse" and "Duel", were UK Top 30 hits. A second studio album, ''1234'' (1990), was recorded with a markedly different line-up and released by Virgin Records to less success. Claudia Brücken
Claudia Brücken (born 7 December 1963) is a German singer and songwriter. She is best known as the lead vocalist of the synth-pop band Propaganda. In 1996, Brücken started working with Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark co-founder Paul Humphreys, first without a name, and from 2004 as Onetwo. In March 2013, Brücken and Humphreys ceased working and living together, and she has subsequently returned to pursuing her solo career. Early career At age 14, Brücken joined her first band, Haarsträubend. Her second band was the all-female ''The Tripolinas'' together with Susanne Freytag, who also became a member of the band Propaganda. The Infinity Project (TIP) was a British 1990s goa trance band. Members included Raja Ram, Graham Wood and Anjee Sian, with Simon Posford occasionally working with them. Other contributors include Martin Freeland ( Man With No Name) and Nick Barber ( Doof). Hux Flux
__NOTOC__ Dennis Tapper (18 November 1974 – 15 May 2018), better known by his stage name Hux Flux, was a Swedish solo musician. His style was an unusual blend of psychedelic trance and goa trance. Hux Flux was formed in 1998 when Tapper started making music after being influenced by the forest parties outside Örebro in Sweden. After a few releases on his own, including the hit "Time Slices", Tapper started to work with Jonas Petterson and they produced the album ''Cryptic Crunch'' together on the label Koyote Records. Later, Tapper moved to Stockholm where he started to work with his old friend Henric Fietz. Their work resulted in tracks such as "Idiot" and "Bring your own BIOS". Tapper also produced tracks such as "Reflux" and "Equivalent Equations" on his own under the name Hux Flux and has also worked on the ambient project Illuminus with Magnus Holte. GMS (also known as the Growling Mad Scientists) are a Dutch psychedelic trance duo which have attained significant popularity, beginning in the early 1990s. Formed by Shajahan Matkin (also known as Riktam) and Joseph Quinteros (also known as Bansi) in the city of Amsterdam, located in the west of The Netherlands, the duo has attracted a large international fanbase. GMS founded Spun Records in 1999, the first psychedelic trance label in the United States and Ibiza, Spain. In 2008, GMS left Spun Records to further concentrate on their own careers and had created in 2009 a new label to release all of their music from their own various bands called Starbox Music. Celtic Cross was a musical collaboration of Simon Posford (Hallucinogen, Shpongle), Martin Glover (bassist from Killing Joke) and Saul Davies (violinist from James). Mixmaster Morris (born Morris Gould, 30 December 1965) is an English electronica DJ and underground musician who has also recorded as The Irresistible Force. His work in the 1990s blended ambient music and chill-out influences with UK dance styles. Life and career Morris Gould was born in Brighton, Sussex, England, but grew up in Lincolnshire and was educated at Millfield in Somerset, and King's College London. At 15 he founded a punk rock band, The Ripchords, whose sole release, an eponymous EP with four tracks, was championed by the BBC Radio One DJ John Peel.
