Clement Attlee
Clement Richard Attlee, 1st Earl Attlee (3 January 18838 October 1967) was a British statesman who was Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1945 to 1951 and Leader of the Labour Party (UK), Leader of the Labour Party from 1935 to 1955. Attlee was Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Deputy Prime Minister during the Churchill war ministry, wartime coalition government under Winston Churchill, and Leader of the Opposition (United Kingdom), Leader of the Opposition on three occasions: from 1935 to 1940, briefly in 1945 and from 1951 to 1955. He remains the longest serving Labour leader. Attlee was born into an upper middle class family, the son of a wealthy London solicitor. Arun Kumar (born 21 September 1986), known professionally as Atlee, is an Indian film director, screenwriter and film producer best known for his work in Tamil films. He initially worked as an assistant director under S. Shankar in the films ''Enthiran'' (2010) and '' Nanban'' (2012). He made his directorial debut with the film '' Raja Rani'' (2013), produced by Fox Star Studios, for which he was awarded Best Debut Director by the Vijay Award and the Tamil Nadu State Award for best dialogue writer. Earl Attlee is a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. It was created on 16 December 1955 for Clement Attlee, the former Labour prime minister. At the same time he was made Viscount Prestwood, of Walthamstow in the County of Essex, which serves as the subsidiary title to the earldom and is also in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. As of 2022, the titles are held by his grandson, the third Earl, who succeeded his father in 1991. He is one of the ninety elected hereditary peers that remain in the House of Lords after the passing of the House of Lords Act 1999. Terra is the name used by multiple fictional superheroines published by DC Comics. The first Terra, Tara Markov, joins the Teen Titans as a double agent for the supervillain Deathstroke. Markov was created by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez, and debuted in ''New Teen Titans'' #26 (December 1982). The second Terra, a doppelgänger of Tara Markov, debuted in ''New Titans'' #79 (September 1991) and was created by Marv Wolfman and Tom Grummett.
