Athey Manithan
''Athey Manithan'' () is a 2000 Tamil language horror film directed by K. Rajeshwar. The film stars Livingston, Maheswari and Lakshmi. The film, produced by T. S. Revathi, had musical score by Adithyan and was released on 28 April 2000 to negative reviews. Plot Mandhira Moorthy (Livingston), a medical representative, will soon marry Bhavani (Maheswari) who is from a rich family. Mandhira Moorthy is deeply in love with Bhagavathi (Lakshmi), a poor dancer, and she becomes pregnant. His miser aunt pressured Mandhira Moorthy for money so he decides to leave the village for the city. Later, Bhagavathi comes to see Mandhira Moorthy after a while. Maheswari is an Indian former actress, who appeared predominantly in Telugu and Tamil language films. She was one of the leading actresses in Telugu and Tamil films from 1994 to 2000. Srinivasan Sundarrajan (17 March 1925 – 28 February 2003), popularly known as Major Sundarrajan, was an Indian actor and director who performed predominantly in Tamil language films and plays. He was well known for his sophisticated and urbane way of delivering dialogues, often mixing English and Tamil sentences.
