Adam Ashe
Adam Ashe (born 24 July 1993 in Glasgow) is a Scotland international rugby union coach and former player. He is the Assistant Coach for the Stirling Wolves. He previously played for the LA Giltinis of Major League Rugby in the MLR; and for Glasgow Warriors. He played at the either number 8 or flanker. Rugby Union career Amateur career Ashe, a product of Alva Academy, has played rugby for Hillfoots and Stirling County In 2016, he turned out for Ayr in the Scottish Premiership. St George Ashe
St. George Ashe, D.D. (3 March 1657 – 27 February 1718) was an Irish mathematician who served as the 15th Provost of Trinity College Dublin from 1692 to 1695. In the late 17th and early 18th centuries, he served as Church of Ireland Bishop of Cloyne, Clogher and Derry, in succession. From 1685 to 1692, he was the Donegall Lecturer in Mathematics at Trinity College Dublin. Saint-George Ashe
Saint George Ashe (23 May 1871 – 24 July 1922) was a British rower who competed in Rowing at the 1900 Summer Olympics in Paris winning the bronze medal in the single sculls, and won the Wingfield Sculls in 1904. Ashe was born in Malta. He was a member of Thames Rowing Club and in 1900 was the only rower to represent Britain at the 1900 Summer Olympics held in Paris, France, in his first round heat, Ashe was disqualified after rowing into Raymond-Benoît and capsizing him, due to no one finishing the full course the judges decided to re-run the race, this time Ashe won by seven seconds. In the final he was third in single sculls behind Hermann Barrelet and André Gaudin but was lucky as he was in fourth place until Louis Prével fell overboard. He entered the Diamond Challenge Sculls at Henley Royal Regatta seven times and was runner up in 1901 to C V Fox. Simeon Ashe or Ash (died 1662) was an English nonconformist clergyman, a member of the Westminster Assembly and chaplain to the Parliamentary leader Edward Montagu, 2nd Earl of Manchester. Life He was educated at Emmanuel College, Cambridge. He began his career as minister in Staffordshire, but was ejected from his living on account of his refusal to read the '' Book of Sports'' and to conform to other ceremonies. On his dismissal Sir John Burgoyne befriended him and allowed him the use of an 'exempt' church at Wroxhall; and he was afterwards under the protection of Robert Greville, 2nd Baron Brooke. Robert William d'Escourt Ashe (23 November 1872 – 17 June 1911) was the acting Collector and District magistrate of Tirunelveli district in Madras Presidency during the British colonialism. On 17 June 1911 Ashe was assassinated by Vanchinathan at the Maniyachi railway junction, between Tirunelveli and Tuticorin. Robert Hoadley Ashe (1751–1826) was an English divine. Martin Ashe (born 27 September 1953) is an Irish-Australian Catholic bishop. He has served as an Auxiliary Bishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne since 2021. Prior to this, he served in various Melbourne parishes, was pastoral director at Corpus Christi College Seminary, and also director of Ministry to Priests within the Archdiocese. Early life Ashe was born in Kinsale, a historic port and fishing town in County Cork, Ireland and grew up in Killarney, in the neighbouring County Kerry.
