Artyom Simonyan ( hy, Արտյոմ Սիմոնյան, born December 27, 1975, in Yerevan, Armenia) is an Armenian amateur boxer. Amateur career Simonyan won a silver medal at the 1998 European Amateur Boxing Championships in the featherweight division and a bronze medal at the 1998 Boxing World Cup in the featherweight division. Professional career Simonyan amassed a record of 13-0-1 (7 KO) from 2000 to 2003 and won the USBA Super Bantamweight title. The European Amateur Boxing Championships is the highest competition for boxing amateurs in Europe, organised by the continent's governing body EUBC, which stands for the '' European Boxing Confederation''. Boxing World Cup
The Boxing World Cup was an international boxing event organized by the International Boxing Association (AIBA), featuring boxers competing in different weight divisions. It was held from 1979 to 1998 as an individual competition and from 2002 to 2006 as a team competition. In 2008 the format returned to individual competition, though the team score was still accounted for. History Individual boxers were competing in their weight categories as part of the team competition, with the overall winner decided by the higher number of total wins. Israel Vázquez Castañeda (born December 25, 1977) is a Mexican former professional boxer who competed from 1995 to 2010. He is a three-time super bantamweight world champion, having held the IBF title from 2004 to 2005; and the WBC, ''The Ring'' titles twice from 2005 to 2008.
