Arthur Mariano
Arthur Nory Oyakawa Mariano (born 18 September 1993) is a Brazilians, Brazilian artistic gymnast and a member of the Brazilian national team. He is a three-time Olympian, having represented Brazil at the 2016 Summer Olympics, Brazil at the 2016, Brazil at the 2020 Summer Olympics, 2020, and Brazil at the 2024 Summer Olympics, 2024 Olympic Games. He is the Gymnastics at the 2016 Summer Olympics, 2016 Olympic bronze medalist on floor exercise as well as the 2019 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, 2019 World Champion and 2022 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, 2022 World bronze medalist on horizontal bar. Early life Mariano was born in 1993, in Campinas, to a Brazilian father and a Japanese Brazilians, Japanese Brazilian mother. He practiced judo in a club as a child, following his father's footsteps. Gymnastics competitions at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile, took place between October 21 and November 4, 2023, at the Training Center for Collective Sport in the National Stadium Cluster. The artistic competitions took place between October 21 and 25. The rhythmic competition took place between November 1 and 4. The trampoline competition took place between November 3 and 4. 26 medal events were contested; 14 in artistic gymnastics (eight for men, six for women), eight in rhythmic (all for women), and four in trampoline (two per gender). 2022 South American Games
The XII South American Games (Spanish language, Spanish: ''XII Juegos Suramericanos Asunción 2022'') was a multi-sport event held between 1–15 October 2022 in Asunción, Paraguay. The Games were organized by the South American Sports Organization, the Paraguayan Olympic Committee, the government of the Republic of Paraguay and the local Secretaria Nacional de Deportes, National Secretary of Sports. Bidding process The city of Asunción, capital of Paraguay, announced its interest in hosting the 2022 South American Games. South American Games
The South American Games (also known as ODESUR Games; Spanish: ''Juegos Suramericanos''; Portuguese: ''Jogos Sul-Americanos''), formerly the Southern Cross Games (Spanish: ''Juegos Cruz del Sur'') is a regional multi-sport event held between nations from South America, organized by the ODESUR (acronym for "Organización Deportiva Suramericana" – ''South American Sports Organization''. The first Games were held in 1978 in La Paz, Bolivia. They have since been held every four years, with the most recent edition in 2022 in Asuncion, Paraguay. 2021 Pan American Gymnastics Championships
The 2021 Pan American Gymnastics Championships was held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in June 2021.
