Artemio Franchi
Artemio Franchi (; 8 January 1922 – 12 August 1983) was an Italian Association football, football administrator. Biography He served as President of the Italian Football Federation (1967–1976, 1978–1980), president of the UEFA (1973–1983), and member of the FIFA Executive Committee (1974–1983). Franchi's name appeared on the Propaganda Due's list of members, but he denied being a part of the organization. He died in a road accident near Siena, Italy, Siena on 12 August 1983. The Stadio Artemio Franchi (Florence), home stadium of ACF Fiorentina and Stadio Artemio Franchi (Siena), that of A.C. Siena are both named in his honour, as well as the Artemio Franchi Trophy. In 2011, he was posthumously inducted into the Italian Football Hall of Fame. References

Artemio Villaseñor Panganiban Jr. (born December 7, 1937) is a Filipino jurist. He served as the 21st Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Philippines from 2005 to 2007. Early life and education Panganiban was born on December 7, 1937, in Sampaloc,Manila in a poor family. His parents were ethnic Pampanga natives Artemio Panganiban Sr. and Patricia Villaseñor. Artemio Ricarte y García (October 20, 1866 – July 31, 1945) was a Filipino general during the Philippine Revolution and the Philippine–American War. He is regarded as the ''Father of the Philippine Army'', and the first Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (March 22, 1897- January 22, 1899) though the present Philippine Army descended from the American-allied forces that defeated the Philippine Revolutionary Army led by General Ricarte. Florindo Eleuterio Flores Hala (better known as Comrade Artemio; born 8 September 1961) is a former leader of the Peruvian Maoist terrorist group Shining Path. He was captured by a combined force of the Peruvian Army. Early life Flores was born on 8 September 1961, in Peru's southern Arequipa province. His family were landless and impoverished and Flores sang on the street in order to help support his family. He attended school in Camana, but dropped out when he was seventeen, later joining the Peruvian Army. He served in the 221 Tank Battalion in Locumba, Tacna from 1979 until December 1980. After his time in the army, he began reading books on Mao Zedong and joined Shining Path sometime in the early 1980's. Reportedly he was 18 years old when he joined the guerrilla. The Finalissima or officially CONMEBOL–UEFA Cup of Champions, formerly known as European/South American Nations Cup and also called Artemio Franchi Cup, is an intercontinental football match organised by CONMEBOL and UEFA and contested by the winners of the Copa América and Euros. Organised as an occasional one-off match, it is a national team equivalent to the defunct Intercontinental Cup between the club champions of Europe and South America.
