Ardy Larong
Ardy Larong (born December 14, 1980) is a Filipino former professional basketball player. He last played for the Philippine Patriots in the Asean Basketball League. He was drafted by Alaska in the second round in the 2007 PBA draft but was left unsigned and the Purefoods Tender Juicy Giants tried him out and signed him. He is known for his defense and hustle. He was signed by the Sta. Lucia Realtors for the 35th PBA season. He played as an import for the Chang Thailand Slammers for the 2010-2011 season. After the Slammers' successful run, Larong moved back to the Philippines to play for the Misamis Oriental Meteors of the Liga Pilipinas. Butuan (pronounced ), officially the City of Butuan ( ceb, Dakbayan sa Butuan; Butuanon: ''Dakbayan hong Butuan''; fil, Lungsod ng Butuan), is a 1st class highly urbanized city in the region of Caraga, Philippines. Misamis Oriental Meteors
The Misamis Oriental Meteors is a Philippine basketball team that is a participant in the third-tier (after the PBA and the PBL) community league Liga Pilipinas. It is based in the province of Misamis Oriental in Mindanao, and its main sponsor is the provincial governor, Gov. Oscar Moreno. The team won the National Finals of the Second Conference of the Liga Pilipinas against the First Conference Champions M Lhuillier Kuwarta Padala - Cebu Niños, 3-2. The Meteors were also in the National Finals of the Third Conference of the Liga, which they lost to the same team (MLKP-Cebu). Liga Pilipinas was a regional basketball league in the Philippines. It was sanctioned by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas, the country's national basketball federation, and owned by Pinoy Basketbol, Inc.
