Archie Comic Publications, Inc. (often referred to simply as Archie Comics) is an American comic book, American comic book publisher headquartered in the Administrative divisions of New York (state)#Village, village of Pelham (village), New York, Pelham, New York. The company's many titles feature the fictional adolescence, teenagers Archie Andrews, Jughead Jones, Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, Reggie Mantle, Sabrina Spellman, Josie and the Pussycats (comics), Josie and the Pussycats and Katy Keene. The company is also known for its long-running ''Sonic the Hedgehog (Archie Comics), Sonic the Hedgehog'' comic series, which it published from 1992 until 2016. The company began in 1939 as M.L.J. Magazines, Inc., which primarily published superhero comics. The initial Archie characters were created in 1941 by publisher John L. Goldwater and artist Bob Montana, in collaboration with writer Vic Bloom.

Archie (comic Book)
''Archie'' (also known as ''Archie Comics'') is an ongoing comic book series (published from 1942 through 2020 in two volumes) featuring the Archie Comics character Archie Andrews. The character first appeared in ''Pep Comics'' #22 (cover dated December 1941). Archie proved to be popular enough to warrant his own self-titled ongoing comic book series which began publication in the winter of 1942. The last issue of the first series was published in June 2015. A second series began publication in July 2015 (briefly replacing the first series), featuring a reboot of the ''Archie'' universe with a new character design aesthetic and a more mature story format and scripting, aimed at older, contemporary teenage and young adult readers. It ran until September 2018. Archie Comics resumed the first series in October 2018. The title concluded in September 2020. ''The Archie Show'' (also known as ''The Archies)'' is an American musical animated sitcom television series produced by Filmation for CBS. Based on the Archie Comics, created by Bob Montana in 1941, ''The Archie Show'' aired Saturday mornings on CBS from September 1968 to 1969. The show featured the main characters in the ''Archie'' series, including Archie Andrews, Jughead Jones, Reggie Mantle, Betty Cooper and Veronica Lodge. In 1969, the show was expanded to an hour and retitled ''The Archie Comedy Hour'', which included a half-hour featuring Sabrina the Teenage Witch. In 1970, the show became ''Archie's Funhouse'', and featured live-action segments. After three seasons, ''The Archie Show'' stopped airing on CBS in 1971. The Archies
The Archies are an American fictional rock band featured in media produced by, and related to, Archie Comics. They are best remembered for their appearance in the animated TV series '' The Archie Show''. In the context of the series, the band was founded by guitarist/vocalist Archie Andrews, drummer Jughead Jones, bassist Reggie Mantle, percussionist/vocalist Betty Cooper and keyboardist/vocalist Veronica Lodge. The music featured in the series was recorded by session musicians, including Ron Dante on lead vocals and Toni Wine on duet and backing vocals. The recordings were released as a series of singles and albums that achieved worldwide chart success. Their most successful song, "Sugar, Sugar", became one of the biggest hits of the bubblegum pop genre that flourished from 1968 to 1973. ''The New Archies'' is an American animated sitcom produced by DIC Entertainment, DIC Animation City, based upon the characters by Archie Comics. The series, originally produced for NBC's Saturday-morning cartoon, Saturday morning schedule and broadcast from September 12 to December 5, 1987, depicted the characters of Archie Andrews, Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, Jughead Jones, Reggie Mantle, and other students of Riverdale High School as pre-teens in junior high. The Gothic Archies
The Gothic Archies are an American indie rock/gothic rock band established by Stephin Merritt of The Magnetic Fields. In 1997, Merritt released ''The New Despair''. The EP featured the song "Your Long White Fingers", which appeared frequently in the Nickelodeon series ''The Adventures of Pete & Pete''. The band later became more prominent when Merritt wrote, performed and recorded songs for the audiobook versions of Lemony Snicket's ''A Series of Unfortunate Events''.
